A little 'shelf' of raffia was attached near the base of each candle, and on it were placed bundles of lavender, white freesias, little twigs and fresh grapes. The wedding took place in a winery.

Filling a single large vase with a mass of identical blooms creates a sense of abundance, which is amplified when there are 30 or so tables ! You could get a similar effect with lilies, irises, or long-stemmed roses, for example.

At her engagement party, Lauren was having 2 tiers of yummy chocolate cup cakes, which were going to be placed on a revolving stand,and she wanted something in keeping with the colour theme of the party to go on the top tier . I didn't see the finished display, but I hear it looked excellent !

The theme colours for this wedding were white with a touch of apricot. The bride carried white phalenopsis orchids, and the bridesmaids "Just Joey" garden roses - a creamy apricot colour. We carried the theme through to the cake.

Red and chocolate brown were the colours for Jo's wedding, and she was having a chocolate mudcake at the reception. Her bouquet featured beautiful red roses, and we made the decoration for the top of the cake with roses, and unripe blackberries, which were a perfect link between the two colours.
