Georgina chose a posy of red roses, soft terracotta Leonidas roses, orange hypericum berries, and burgundy leucadendrons for her bouquet. Her husband has a buttonhole of a rose with the berries. The original idea of a man's buttonhole was that the lady would give the man a flower plucked from her bouquet.
For the lunchtime reception, she kept to the orange/red colour theme, but chose bright, happy gerberas with twisted willow. The only other colour in the otherwise white marquee at the Amora Riverwalk Hotel was the red of the chair sashes.
